Subject: Improper white Exhaust Gas – Camshaft

1) Condition:

1. Engine hesitation and improper white exhaust gas.

2) Cause:

1. Number 4 cylinder intake and exhaust valve fail to operate.

3) Diagnosis:

1. Inspect engine condition after disconnecting the injector connector # 1 cylinder through # 4 cylinder (cylinder power balance check)
   = Engine is not change when the injector connector is disconnected = Abnormal.
2. Inspect the compression pressure.
   = # 4 cylinder is 20 kg/cm2 and #1,2,3 cylinder is 30 kg/cm2.
3. Visually inspect after removing camshaft.
   = # 4 Camshaft is Abnormal.

4) Repair Guide:

1. Replace the Camshaft assembly.
