2009 Elantra (HD) Suspension Noise-Shock Absorber

model: Elantra (HD) Year Model: 2009 mileage:40253 km

Subject: Front Suspension Noise – Shock Absorber insulator bearing stocked-up
1) Condition:
  1. Noise occurs during driving on a speed humps.
  2. Noise occurs when shifting lever shift to D & R and steering wheel half turn direction to right and left .
2) Cause:
  • Shock Absorber Insulator bearing stocked up.
3) Diagnosis:
  1. Perform a driving test after installing sound scope equipment.
    = Noises have been occurred at front shock absorber.
  2. Inspect the noise occurring part after removing shock absorber.
    = Noise is occurred due to shock insulator bearing stocked up.
4) Repair Guide:
  1. replace shock insulator.
